Carbine Rifle Classes

Carbine Operator - 2 Day LE Only

Cost: $300 - Limit 10 students

This course will focus on the carbine rifle. Instruction will cover nomenclature, range safety, zeroing, marksmanship fundamentals and tactical shooting principles.

Officers will receive detailed instruction on equipment and rifle set up, as well as common mistakes. By the end of the class, those attending will be able to make a more educated decision on equipment and ammunition based on their particular mission needs.

Live fire drills will allow the shooter to take advantage of the significantly higher level of accuracy of the carbine over the pistol. Whether you are law enforcement or military, Our Instructors will give you the knowledge to significantly improve your marksmanship abilities.

  • Serviceable Carbine (chambered in 5.56x45, 5.45x39, 300 Blackout, 7.62x39, 7.62x51)
  • 3 serviceable magazines (more is better)
  • Magazine pouches, chest rig, or battle belt
  • Sling (single or two point)
  • 400 rounds of rifle ammo
  • Ear protection (electronic preferred)
  • Eye Protection
  • Pistol w/3 magazines
  • Sturdy Belt
  • Holster

Combat Carbine Rifle

This course is designed for those wishing to push the range of the carbine beyond typical CQB/ Home defense distances. Instruction will cover nomenclature, range safety, zeroing, marksmanship fundamentals and tactical shooting principles.

If you own an AR15 but have not been sure what class to attend, this is the one. New students will receive detailed instruction on equipment and rifle set up, as well as common mistakes. By the end of the class, those attending will be able to make a more educated decision on equipment and ammunition based on their particular mission needs.

Gunfighter Carbine Rifle

This course addresses the development of shooter accuracy and target engagement speed from both static and dynamic situations.  Participants will be exposed to marksmanship skill development drills; movement drills; positions of disadvantage drills; and speed development drills.  Training will force students to "push the envelope" of their shooting skills. Additional topics will include rifle zeroing, external and terminal ballistics of the 5.56x45mm round, equipment set up and considerations.

CQB Carbine Rifle

This course is designed to train skills needed for use of the carbine in a CQB/ home defense environment. Instruction covers firearms safety, nomenclature, ammo selection, operational procedures. Students will learn techniques common to a CQB environment such as movement, use of cover, Tactical shooting skills, target identification and transitions.

  • 100 rounds pistol ammo (ABSOLUTELY NO GREEN TIP, ARMOR PIERCING, OR INCENDIARY TYPE AMMUNITION).
