About Workman Firearms

Northeast Ohio’s Veteran-Led Firearms Training Team

Workman Firearms was built around a simple idea: firearms training should be taught by people who’ve actually used them. Every instructor holds state and NRA credentials, maintains active range familiarity at Range 42, and keeps up with Ohio law changes that affect concealed carry holders.

Glen Workman

Lead Instructor & Owner — Workman Firearms & Range 42

Glen Workman is a U.S. military veteran and the owner of Range 42 and Workman Firearms. He built both operations from the ground up in Northeast Ohio, driven by the belief that responsible gun ownership starts with quality education. Glen holds multiple NRA instructor certifications and is a certified Ohio CCW instructor. His approach is direct, patient, and grounded in practical use — not theory.

Norton & Brunswick Locations

Workman Firearms classes are co-taught by Range 42 staff instructors at both the Norton and Brunswick locations. All Range 42 instructors are NRA-certified and hold current Ohio CCW instructor credentials. Staff bios are maintained at each location and posted at the front desk.
