Our instructors are NRA-certified with real-world experience that most
civilians never encounter. Our lead instructor served in the United States
Marine Corps and worked as a professional bodyguard with Gavin de Becker
& Associates — one of the most respected executive protection firms in
the country.

Do I need experience before booking a private firearms lesson?
No. Private lessons can start with safe handling, grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control for a brand-new shooter, or they can focus on specific skills for someone who already has range time.
Can private lessons help me prepare for an Ohio CCW class?
Yes. A private lesson is a good way to build confidence before CCW, especially if you want one-on-one help before a full class or live-fire qualification.
Where are private firearms lessons held?
Private lessons are scheduled by appointment for students near Akron, Norton, Medina, Brunswick, Cleveland, and surrounding Northeast Ohio communities, using the appropriate Workman Firearms and Range 42 location.
Can I bring my own handgun?
Yes. Many students bring their own handgun so instruction can be built around the firearm they actually use. If you do not own one yet, ask about rental options before the lesson.
